Stéphanie Ross Bégin is a finalist for the Ms. Canada World Universal pageant 2020/2021. She is 37 years old and was born in Trois-Rivières. She is married and has two children. She obtained a DEC in Nursing and has a degree in nursing science. She also has a post-graduate diploma as a primary care nurse specialist. She currently works as a home care nurse for the CLSC de Beauport.

In terms of her involvement in the society, she has been sponsoring a boy from the Dominican Republic for eleven years now. She is also involved in her local church as a Sunday school teacher’s helper, in the housekeeping of the building and in the distribution of Christmas baskets for people in need. As well as being one of the nurse leaders in the church, she offers her services in several events such as being responsible for offering coffee every Sunday morning. She also had the chance to participate in the “Mataba project“, an African community, where she helped them become self-sufficient; she participated in raising funds for the organization and the implementation of the project.

Participating in the Ms. Canada World Universal pageant contest means for her to be more than beautiful, to be more than an intelligent woman but to be as much a part of Canadian society. At first glance, it is a unique opportunity to put to good use the knowledge she has acquired through her professional and her humanitarian experiences. If elected, during her reign, she intends to mobilize Canadian society to fight the scourge of young victims of bullying.
